How to know a secure site where you can use you master card

Many of us have being victims of online fraudsters. These fraudsters clone a web site to make it look like the original in colour, font characters, contents and designs in general.
Sometimes they advertise fake products which they want you to buy online to steal you card information.

Here are some things to check for so you won’t be a victim.

  1. Ensure you have the correct website address from a reliable source enter it correctly. For example, there is difference between www.riversong.com and www.riversongs.com. Notice the difference “s” at the end of the both song.
  2. If you want to make payments online ensure you see the below image on your address bar after you must have entered the address and presses enter or the page you are making the payment(s) has displayed.

  1. If you want to download, ensure you find an assurance that the content is protected by www.mcafee.com. Mcafee is also important while making payment to avoid pilfers etc.

  1. Finally also watch for this symbol below which is also SSL certificates.

I hope this helps.
